Scrap buyer is responsible for identifying and procuring commodities from scrap metal and junk yard businesses. Responsibilities include; finding new companies to procure material from, identifying external material needs of the organization, negotiating for prices, and arranging for the purchase and delivery of the goods.
- 5-7 years of experience in sales, purchasing sales, recycling and metal industry preferred
- College degree in related field (Finance, Business, sales) a plus
- Must have strong sales skills and strive to develop long-term customer relationships
- Must have excellent multi-tasking, time-management, and organizational skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, telephone etiquette and computer knowledge
